"I've been interested in plastic pollution for 2 years and now want to be proactive in working with organisations who look to educate and offer alternatives to plastic.

I traveled for the majority of 2017 and documented the plastic I found and the issues facing the local people. I was also involved in a few clean ups, however these events are only treating the symptoms and the cause needs to be addressed, in order for real change to happen.

I have recently started volunteering with Plastic Oceans UK who focus on education. Both myself and my sister Corrin are very keen to make a change in our home city Southampton. Our focus is currently on straws, so when my sister found the Plastic Free Pledge we knew it was a perfect fit!"
