Jamie's Italian UK Sign The Plastic Free Pledge

BIG NEWS! We are now delighted to announce that every Jamie's Italian in the UK have signed up to the Plastic Free Pledge and will now be plastic straw free! The management team at JI's have been brilliant at showing their commitment to the cause, rolling out corn starch alternatives to plastic straws across all their 36 stores in the UK with immediate effect. Jamie’s Italian is the first of the large restaurant groups to sign up to Pledge, and we hope the first of many to come on board and go plastic free, because as JI’s say -  responsibility stretches further than food!

‘We’re not just passionate about bringing you the best, most ethically sourced food and drink we can find, we’re also keen to do our bit for the environment. That’s why we’ve decided to ditch plastic straws in all 36 of our UK restaurants and introduce brand new ones made using no plastic at all.’
