"I have 15 years experience of working in the waste management and resources industry advising organisations on improving their resource efficiency and minimizing waste. I have strong project and programme management skills working as a senior project manager, managing £1m budget. I also have experience of procuring large national waste management frameworks on behalf of English local authorities. Since taking time out to have a family I have been tirelessly working on plastic prevention campaigns. Cutting plastic use has become my absolute passion and I would love to help in any way I can to clean up the planet.

During taking time out to raise my two sons I have set up a support group for people who are trying to go plastic free on Facebook with over 500 members. I am working to make a local town a plastic free town. I have been asked to talk on national radio in the UK many times over the last few months to spread the word about how people can cut down on their plastic consumption."
